Hey y’all!

Thanks for reading Justice & Joy. I’m LySaundra Janeé. LySaundra means “defender of mankind” and Janeé means “Jehovah is gracious.” As a storyteller, curator, and creative activist, I live and create in light of those truths every day. I am documenting every moment of life through music, poetry, prose, and an Oxford comma.

I’m the creator of Social Soundtrack, a space where Black lives are dignified, creativity is celebrated, and joy is unapologetic. And I hope that’s exactly how you feel when you engage with my work: dignified, creative, and joyful.

For justice & joy,
LySaundra Janeé
